Saacin

An Indigenous organization that needed a brand identity honouring its cultural roots — and the visual credibility to engage funders, government partners, and the broader public on equal terms.

The Challenge

Saacin needed a brand identity that could hold two things at once: an authentic representation of its Indigenous roots and community identity, and the visual register required to engage government ministries, institutional funders, and policy stakeholders with credibility. Generic nonprofit branding would have sacrificed the former; an identity built only for internal audiences would have undermined the latter. The work required genuine care about what was being represented — not just design craft.

What We Did

We developed a complete brand identity and design system for Saacin — one that started from a thorough understanding of the organization's values, community, and long-term direction. The resulting visual language is grounded and distinctive, capable of representing the organization with dignity across a wide range of contexts: community communications, government submissions, grant applications, and public materials alike. We paired the identity work with positioning advisory, helping Saacin articulate what makes them distinct and how to communicate it consistently across audiences.
