American Message Foundation
A brand-new 501(c)(3) research and advocacy organization. We launched them looking like they'd always been there — visual identity, launch advisory, and a full graphic library from scratch.
The Challenge
As a brand-new 501(c)(3), the American Message Foundation needed to launch with the visual credibility of an established institution. Focused on political messaging and the science of public communication, they would be engaging researchers, policymakers, funders, and media from day one — audiences who would immediately assess organizational maturity from brand signals. There was no existing brand, website, or graphic library to build from.
What We Did
We built the American Message Foundation's visual identity from scratch, developing a brand language that communicated intellectual credibility and institutional seriousness — the visual register of an established research organization, not a startup. We provided launch advisory across their public-facing materials, advising on how to sequence and position their public debut. We created a full library of graphic assets that gave the organization a cohesive, professional public face from the first day they went public.
